This is one person's selection of 22 dog-friendly pubs (green markers), one please-ask-first pub (blue marker), plus two notable but unenlightened ones (red markers), near enough to Epping Forest to provide a pint before or after a pleasant walk. Always interested to hear of any I've missed, although I can't guarantee to include them here.
Update: The external data service on which this page has relied has been discontinued by the service provider. I hope to set up an alternative in due course.
Tip: Markers with numbers show multiple locations, and can't be clicked. Zoom in to see individual pubs, and click for more details including postcodes (for Sat-Navs!).
For those pubs currently unenlightened, I always suggest a small notice in the window: "Dogs by invitation only - but it's worth asking."
